![]() ![]() It seems to me this is what this forum is for wether you are a paying user or not. That's just my opinion, there is no reason to be agressive about it, especially with the "cake" references that are really uneeded. So my advice on this is either make it clear to everyone that pop up is due to free account or get rid of it, right now for the reasons i explained it doesnt really fullfill its "supposed" mission. And is actually a reason to share w/ another drive (especially w/ aged people, and btw google doesnt display a pop up either). But thats off topic reallyįinally nothing indicates this pop up is meant to be there for free users (could be a bug or simply the way dropbox functions independantly of any "ad" purposes). ![]() Grant others access to files that you are storing, or request files from team members, groupmates, or your class. As far as private data goes, i'm sure you also use a TOR browser, dont have a google account and dont use all the billion of websites out there that dont give a flying f. Dropbox Dropbox allows you to create, store, and share cloud content securely with others at the University of Florida and worldwide. Fill out the brief form with your name and email address. Unfortunately when I access dropbox on my laptop it shows files related to an old id, there is no icon on the system tray. Go to in your desktop web browser and click the Sign Up button. Thirdly a lot of people care what one drive does, it's called "competition". I have setup a new login for dropbox and downloaded the app to my Windows 10 laptop. You can easily access your favorite news, binge watching, and shopping sites with just a few clicks. ![]() Hence making this "ad" useless for 99,99 % of the people impacted (unless they come here and read you need a paying account, which they dont do) With Passwords, you can sign in from anywhere with apps for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Androidpasswords from your desktop will automatically sync to your mobile device. Secondly the problem in this case is that nothing that tells you, wether when creating the link, or sharing it, or loading it, that a premium account would not have gotten this "login screen" pop up. So it doesnt even serve its purpose (unless its counting on the stupidity of people to make them register a new account to access the pictures instead of closing the arrow at the top right of the pop up) ![]() First its not an ad its more like a register screen, an ad would actually explain what dropbox is and why people should use it. ![]()
